Ashtar speaking on the teleconference June 5, 2007:

"..Now there is one heinous, destructive, killing operation that is continuing to go on in your world today, and it is designed and contrived to accomplish something, or several things really, that right now at least, there is some denial on.  But there has been a constant stream of lies to justify this particular operation of a military nature.  Now there are many going on around the world,  be not mistaken.  We are asking you to focus on the one that you have already come together on in your hearts and minds, that you have already delivered a mandate on, and that you have already said 'STOP.'  And we are talking about the war in Iraq.

"It is this war, more than any other that shows the absolute disregard, that Bush, and Cheney, and the other high up 'King Yertle' architects of the war have for all of you 'Macks'; the wanton destruction of a country, the horrendous massacres that have taken place, the torturing, and the killing of thousands upon thousands of innocent victims, and the sending of the people, who with honor and courage, volunteered to serve their country in its military services, who have been sent there.

"And it is not just that they are dying from car bombs, and suicide bombers, and bullets, and mortar shells, and all of the conventional weapons of war.  They are coming home, and they are taking leave of their bodies, because while they were there, they were exposed to toxins and toxic substances, radioactive and otherwise.  They were vaccinated with toxic materials.  They are often kept high over there on drugs, to keep them going, so that they will obey a command to kill.

"It is heinous, if you judge it.  It is purposeful, if you observe it, because this above all else should be telling you right now that everything needs to be fixed, and start  with this.  It's time for Peace.  You want it, and it is only the selfish few who would be king, who want perpetual war.  They make promises, and they break them, because they have not enough awakening to Light.  They are being actually still controlled by programs that they were born with,  they came in with, and they have lived as dark hats before.  You can say they are without conscience, if you choose too.  And it is very difficult, and we know this.  We've had some, what you might call, go-arounds with them ourselves lately. And we understand that when you're in a 3D body, it is difficult to offer them forgiveness and love for what they have done.

"We propose that you set aside the struggle, and be not judgmental about yourselves, and your feelings.  Allow them to pass through you, and focus upon lighting up the world, by hastening the exit of these ones, who are creating so much unhappiness.  They want to keep you in 3D, because in 3D it is easy to lose sight of your own divinity.  It is easy for you to not realize that you are indeed the Master.  We are asking you to focus upon this particular topic, and to fully move into the role that you have volunteered for at this time as peacemakers upon planet Earth.  Now this is a serious subject, and you're probably wondering, well, what am I to do?  We have been meditating.  We have been empowering peace most powerfully, and for an individual 'Mack', it does not seem to be an easy thing to do.

"Aha!  But when you have the entire Galactic Federation, Ashtar Command, Angels, and Ascended Masters, and your Guides, and your own fully integrated and connected beings, working on this topic, working on this project, does that not become another matter?  Does that not seem to be, instead of, 'Well, how can I accomplish this?'  Does it not seem to be instead, 'There is no doubt that we shall accomplish this?'

"So we have been in observation, and we have been in discussion, and we have been negotiating for quite some time.  What is impelling this presentation to you tonight is the realization, that while we recognize, and appreciate that many of those in these high places are waking up, are coming to the Light, and indeed some have completely switched sides, as it were, there are still many hold outs. The programs are deep within them.  There is only so much that we can do, and coming in at this moment, and waving a magic wand, and changing everything without encouragement, would not serve the best interests of those who are still asleep, and we're talking about millions of 'Macks', as well as their leaders.

"They need to see more, those who are not seeing right now.  They are waking up to Truth more and more, even some of those conservative people, who comment in their news articles, and in their presentations on the airwaves, are starting to notice that it's not all fabulously, wonderful things that your government is bringing forth from your 3D perspective.  So we ask that you retain your high vibrations, come from that position, offer forgiveness, continue your meditations, and so on, addressing the program known as self, allowing those who would come to the Light to release it, and encouraging and supporting that, and welcoming them to the Light.

"That is highly effective.  It is most effective, and it is having an effect.  But, if you want to speed things up a bit, we've got an idea to present to you, an inspiration, a project, and it may even be shocking.....The truth of the matter is, this particular war agenda will be carried out by the leading candidates of either party, regardless of what the people mandate, and regardless of what they say.  Do not be fooled and bamboozled; they lie.  Do not put your faith in liars, unless you think that that is a delightful way to go.  

"We threw a phrase out in our discussion with the Voice earlier, as a summary of what we are to propose, and she was shocked, because she read judgment into it.  The phrase is simply, 'Fire the liars!' Well it's another way of saying, 'Relieve them of their responsibilities!'   You know it's very difficult to keep up a stream of lies.  It's very difficult to figure out where you're going to hide the drug money next, in what bank, or what bank account, or try to keep it from being stolen by somebody else.  It is a very difficult thing to figure out how you are going to get your corporation to squeeze more profits out, and still retain their prominence as a respectable organization, rather than ending up going to prison.

"Well, we are suggesting that you offer an opportunity to those who are supporting, shall we say, the supporting actors, and actresses in the drama.  Now you have King George, and you have the one, who is often portrayed in the garb of Darth Vader.  They call him Darth Vader Dick, and that is an interesting concept is it not?  No judgment, just observation.  You see the difference?  Can you feel the difference?  Now they and their immediate ones; they're all up there you know at the top of the stack, and below them primarily you've got the ones you call your lawmakers, your legislators.  Your rubber-stampers, your corrupted ones, your bribed ones, and your ones who are operating in fear, because they and their families and everyone they know have been threatened.  

"There all kinds of methods you know to get to them, including their own greed.  How about that fellow with the freezer?  My goodness, wasn't that a novel place to hide all of that money?  And so we have given a few examples, and we have brought in some high vibes, have we not?   Because when you laugh you're in high vibration, nevertheless we are absolutely serious about this. 

"We are proposing that you offer these ones an opportunity to resign, followed up with recall elections in the states that provide for that, but you will need attorneys, you will need some time, and so on.  So we're suggesting; here comes another petition, but not on-line.  We're talking  paper.  We're talking about the fact that you can go to our website.  We're talking about inviting the resignations of every single senator, and every single congress person who voted this so-called blank check to continue the war in Iraq.  Rally around that.  Go to your organizations that have any cause.  We don't care if it's an organization that wants to provide free toenail painting.  Get to your organizations.  Go to your bridge clubs, your country clubs.  Go to your social groups. 

"Go to your established organizations.  There are some wondrous ones, like Code Pink.  Go out and publicize this door-to-door, if need be.  Recruit, recruit, recruit.  Get help, get these things signed, and the team will be telling you what we have inspired as a way to make this as easy for you as possible.  If you will focus on their failure to vote according to the will of the people, to end the war in Iraq, if you will forget party-ism, and party lines, and simply let all those who voted to continue that war know.  And here's a helpful hint for you -you might want to include those who voted only for political reasons...."

"..This week, however, the leadership of the Democratic Party wrote Chapter One of "Profiles In Cowardice". Of course, that wasn't entirely a surprise. Most Democrats bought into this war, along with the rest of Bushism, from the very beginning. It turns out that this gang of mealy-mouthed nothing-burgers really is the party of effete Quislings that Republicans make them out to be. At a time of moral, constitutional, international, governmental, political and environmental crisis, the Democrats have taken a firm stand on the issue of trying not to offend anybody in America. A previous war funding bill was vetoed by the president because it included troop withdrawal deadlines, which were largely supported by anti-war Democrats.

Ten Democrats opposed this new bill with no withdrawal deadlines, while 37 supported its passage. Congress had to act to replace war funding that would have ended May 28.

According to the Washington Post, this bill includes 18 "benchmarks that the Iraqi government must meet to continue receiving reconstruction aid." One hundred billion dollars in funding is slated to support continuing military operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. The bill says that the President and Congress must not take any action that will endanger the troops and that they provide any funds necessary for training, equipment and other types of support to ensure their safety and the effectiveness of their missions. The president is required to give a first report on the Iraqis' progress in meeting the benchmarks to Congress on July 15.
